Running Twin Heritage Program, Taman Wisata Candi Together with Several Countries Will Form World Heritage Forum
Taman Wisata Candi together with several countries will form a World Heritage Forum. This is in line with the Taman Wisata Candi program which will run the Twin Heritage program. Twin Heritage is a collaboration between countries whose countries have World Heritage. This was conveyed by the Marketing and Service Director of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Queen Boko Ricky SP Siahaan.
"We created a program that we call Twin Heritage. Twin Heritage is a collaboration between countries that have World Heritage in their countries. So that later, this year we hope to form a World Heritage Forum whose members are countries that have World Heritage in their countries. The goal is that we can work together to do several things, one of which is joint promotion. We can work together to promote the World Heritage in our respective countries in our destinations, we make promotions from the member countries." Ricky SP Siahaan said.
"In addition, we can conduct market exchanges and expert exchanges. We can exchange our experts, both in preservation and conservation. We can also share experiences, both in attracting visitors and in creating marketing strategies and regional development strategies in the World Heritage tourism destination," explained Ricky.
“For this Twin Heritage, we will initiate first a group or country that has the same understanding and alignment and has the same goals as us. We have explored this with Angkor Wat Cambodia. Then when the Sri Lankan Foreign Minister visited Indonesia, they were very positive about this. They even wanted to be involved in it. Because in Sri Lanka there is a World Heritage, namely The Lost City. Likewise with the Taj Mahal India which welcomed this very positively. Later, the World Heritage Forum that we will form will be initiated by countries in Asia to become Members of the Asian Forum. This will be easier because we are a country that is related to the Asian group that can create more intense cooperation. "Ricky added.
