Launching of Student Achievement Acceleration Learning Assistance Program
By participating in this Student Achievement Acceleration program, students will be able to take the National Examination with the best results and can continue their higher education at their favorite schools.
That is the hope of Edy Setijono, President Director of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) when launching the Elementary School Grade 6 Learning Assistance Program "Student Achievement Acceleration" at SDN Salakan Lor Selomartani Kalasan Sleman Yogyakarta. Tuesday, March 28, 2018.
Furthermore, Edy said, this Student Achievement Acceleration Program is to prepare for the 2018 National Examination, PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) through the BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri program, Partnership and Community Development Program (PKBL TWC) in the education sector is holding a Student Achievement Acceleration program through learning assistance to 6th grade elementary school students to prepare for the National Examination.
As a pilot project, 3 schools that meet the criteria have been selected to be the subject of the program. The three schools are SDN I Sengon Prambanan Klaten, SDN Salakan Lor Selomartani Kalasan Sleman and SDN Perumnas 3 Condong Catur Depok Sleman. It seems that these schools really need additional educational services for their students, especially grade 6 students who will face the National Examination. In this program, TWC hired PRIME Generation as a learning companion partner for the school. Said Edy
Edy added, "As we all know, the TWC PKBL program is divided into three sectors, the first is the education sector as the most basic sector that requires special attention. The second is the health sector and the third is the economic & environmental sector. In its implementation in the education sector, PKBL TWC designs a program that can be quickly felt and beneficial to the community, one of which is the Student Achievement Acceleration program."
"The Elementary School Student Achievement Acceleration Program was chosen because this program can be evaluated in a relatively shorter time and then later can be duplicated if it is indeed useful for elementary school students. In this Education Acceleration Program, Edy wants to focus on the Student Achievement Acceleration program, especially for 6th grade elementary school students who will face the National Exam."
In addition, Edy also hopes that by participating in this Student Achievement Acceleration program, students will be able to take the National Examination with the best results. He deliberately chose elementary schools that have been less fortunate, meaning that the students' National Examination results are not good, and with these less than good National Examination results, they automatically cannot continue to a higher level of education in schools that are quite popular.
We run this acceleration program in a short time. Hopefully within 2 to 3 months, this program can help them learn better because this program is a mentoring program, there will be teachers that we send specifically and they have a relatively better educational mentoring methodology including psychological mentoring so the pattern is truly integrated, mentoring students in order to accelerate their achievements
