Planting Tree Seedlings in the Plaosan Temple Tourism Park Area
"We want to develop new tourism areas, this is also an asset of Klaten Regency, one of which is in the Sojiwan Temple area."
This was conveyed by Edy Setijono, President Director of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) after planting tree seedlings in the Taman Wisata Candi Plaosan area with Sri Mulyani, Regent of Klaten Regency, which is a BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri program, TWC officially handed over assistance from the Partnership and Community Development Program to its fostered partners in the industrial, trade, agriculture, plantation, livestock, fisheries and service sectors in the Prambanan Klaten, Pramban Sleman and Yogyakarta regions in the Taman Wisata Candi Sojiwan parking area on Thursday, January 25, 2018.
Furthermore, Edy said that this was a collaboration with the Klaten Regency Government, which essentially started by providing assistance for CSR of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko to the Klaten Regency area.
Edy hopes that in the future there will be a better collaboration between PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko as a BUMN with the Klaten Regency Government, we want to develop new tourism areas which are also assets of Klaten Regency, one of which is in the Sojiwan Temple area.
We want to work together with the Village Government to develop the Sojiwan Temple Tourism Park, so that Sojiwan Temple can be more attractive, can attract tourists, and more importantly, we can have an impact on new economic circulation and can provide business opportunities for the community around Sojiwan Temple.
In addition, Edy is also interested in one theme offered by the Klaten Regent, that the Klaten Regent has a million flowers program "I think this is an interesting program too, why, because if we have one garden with millions of flowers, this is also a separate attraction and this can be a new icon in the Klaten Regency area. We will try to discuss it with the Village Government in Sojiwan to be able to apply one of the programs from the Klaten Regent.

The most important thing is the provision of facilities, especially important parking. Indeed, this tourism requires a relatively large parking area, like in Sojiwan, the village government has provided a parking area so that later the development of integration will be easier.
Edy also said that the Temple Tour Package program using a Shuttle from Prambanan Temple to Sojiwan Temple is already running, but to increase its volume, it needs an asset that is starting to be prepared, the preparation of the Sojiwan area, I think this will be one of the new attractions, so tourists who have been present in Prambanan will be interested in Sojiwan, not only to see the Temple but also to see other attractions that will be developed by the village here, one of which we will propose a flower garden, hopefully this can be realized later.
