Synergy is the Key to Achieving 2018 Targets

There is one key that the Ministry of SOEs always pushes to all of us SOEs, namely one word that we call Synergy," said Edy Setijono.

“Synergy is a word that we often hear, often discuss, but it is not easy for us to implement. Because this synergy is not to make all of us the same, but to make us able to respect each other for all the differences that exist. Synergy is not a compromise. Synergy is collaboration. A compromise will produce something the same, based on similarities. But collaboration is based on differences. When we respect each other's differences, make those differences potential, then we will be able to build what we call collaboration. Synergy is collaboration and not compromise. " added Edy Setijono.

“Synergy is often mentioned that if 1 + 1 = 3, it is synergy. But if 1 + 1 = 1,5 it is a compromise. If compromise we look for what is best for each of us. But if collaboration, we look for what is best for all of us. At the beginning of this year, let us together build togetherness in diversity so that we can build a collaboration. We must learn to share resources. As we know, each of us has advantages. Of course there are weaknesses. But in collaboration, the superior will share to be able to cover the weak. The weak will share with those who are better to be able to become better. If we can share the resources we have, God willing, we will be able to build that collaboration. " he concluded.
