One day before Nyepi Day, in order to welcome the new Saka year, Hindus throughout Indonesia hold the Tawur Kesanga ceremony. Tawur Kesanga is a ceremony to Purify the Universe and all its contents before the coming of the new Saka year and a prayer to ask Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa, the Almighty God, so that all mankind and the universe are in a harmonious state full of tranquility, prosperity and peace. Tawur Kesanga was held at the Wisnu Mandala Courtyard, Prambanan Temple, Friday, March 16, 2018.

“During Nyepi we carry out the Catur Brata Penyepian. Amati Geni, Amati Karya and Amati Lelanguan and Amati Lelungan. At that time we reflect on what we have done in the past and what our plans are for the future. Leave the bad in the past, improve it to be better for the future. Therefore, the theme raised through Catur Brata Penyepian is Increasing Solidarity as a Glue for Diversity in Maintaining the Integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. The background to raising this theme is that we all know that there are many differences and diversities in this republic. And it is precisely because of this diversity that Indonesia exists. Hindus are determined to harmonize this diversity in an orchestra of life that can produce notes of peace, coolness, harmony, tolerance, togetherness. Therefore, we need solidity as a glue for this diversity. " added the Chairman of the Committee, Rear Admiral TNI I Nyoman Aryawan.

In the future, by implementing and uniting this diversity, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia will be intact and will be victorious in the region.
