Time Gatebal TWC Becomes Champion in International Championship in Thailand

Taman Wisata Candi Gateball Team Makes Indonesia's Name Famous by Winning the 6th Thailand International Gateball Championship 2018 in Bangkok

Two Gateball Teams of Borobudur Temple Tourism Park representing PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) who are members of the Indonesian team successfully won the 6th Thailand International Gateball Championship 2018 Competition in Bangkok, for the team number after defeating the team from China with a score of 23-11. Meanwhile, the double team defeated the team from Japan with a score of 23-07.

"The 6th Thailand International Gateball Championship 2018 competition held on March 2-4, 2018 at the National Stadium Bangkok Thailand, was attended by 10 countries, including the Gateball Team of Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur who won first place and received two Gold Medals, Trophies and coaching money from the TWC Borobudur Team and Doubles." Said Masrufan, Head of the TWC Borobudur Gateball Team.

Masrufan further said that the host as the organizer did not expect that the team from TWC Borobudur would win this championship because the TWC Borobudur Gateball Team was participating in the International Gateball Championship competition for the first time.

Meanwhile, the TWC Borobudur Gateball Team itself also did not expect and did not believe when entering the final and was very happy about this championship. Before competing, the TWC Team handed over souvenirs from the management to the royal family who held government positions in Bangkok and souvenir t-shirts to participants from various countries & the match committee.

"Indonesia's achievement, especially from the TWC Borobudur Gateball Team in this championship is very proud considering the tough opponents, such as Japan and China, as well as the host Thailand. This achievement is also expected to encourage the progress of Gateball sports in Indonesia. In addition, it is also hoped that the TWC Borobudur Gateball Team can participate in a bigger Gateball championship to increase the team's knowledge and at the same time promote Borobudur Temple, Prambanan Temple and Ratu Boko."
