Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Rini Soemarno carries out a mass harvest in Pulerejo Hamlet, Prambanan

TWC Distributes Three Tons of Harvest Results to Islamic Boarding Schools & Orphanages in the Pramaban Sleman Area

Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Rini Soemarno conducted a mass harvest in Pulerejo Hamlet, Bokoharjo Prambanan Sleman together with the Board of Directors of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero). Saturday (05/05/2018).

This activity is part of a series of celebrations for the 20th anniversary of the Ministry of SOEs as well as a real manifestation of SOEs Present for the Nation through the Partnership & Community Development Program (PKBL) of the Candi Tourism Park.

"TWC as a state-owned company directly absorbs farmers' rice. This is an effort so that farmers get good rice prices. That way, farmers can get enough income and can enjoy the results, so that in the end it can provide welfare for farmers and their families". Said Edy Stijono, President Director of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko.

Furthermore, Edy said that Serap Gabah Petani is a program initiated by the Ministry of SOEs run by PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko. The efforts made through this Great Harvest, hopefully can provide benefits. All activities carried out by TWC, are a form of concern and responsibility of the company towards the community environment to advance the economy of the surrounding villages.

Three tons of rice from the Great Harvest were absorbed by TWC, which will then be given to the Baitussalam Pulerejo Bokoharjo Prambanan Sleman Islamic Boarding School, the Ringinsari Bokoharjo Prambanan Sleman Orphanage and the Al Barokah Serut Madurejo Prambanan Sleman Islamic Boarding School.
Also present to accompany the harvest were the directors of Bank BRI, Bank Mandiri, Bank BNI and Bulog. Rini and the BUMN directors carried out a harvest together with farmers in Pulerejo Bokoharjo Prambanan Sleman.

This is a form of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from PT TWC towards the community and the surrounding environment. As a commitment from PT TWC to advance and prosper the surrounding community through the BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri program.
