TWC Partners with Press to Promote Joglosemar Tourism to Achieve Target of 2 Million Foreign Tourist Visits

PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) held the 2018 Press Gathering. This Press Gathering visited various tourist destinations in the Joglosemar area.

"PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) was assigned by the Ministry of SOEs to oversee Joglosemar as 10 new destinations besides Bali. These 10 new Balis are expected, especially those in Central Java and DIY, to be asked by PT TWC to make a master plan. As previously seen in De Tjolomadoe, this is one of the new destinations in the Joglosemar area. Then there is Lawangsewu. Besides Lawangsewu, there is also a port. We are also pushing this port and it turns out that it can develop as it is now." Said TWC Corporate Secretary Achmad Muchlis.

Achmad Muchlis said that TWC had carried out various activities to achieve the target of foreign tourist visits that had been set by the government.

"We invite our friends in the press to prepare for 2019-2020, the target has been set by the government, which is 20 million foreign tourists. The new airport has been prepared. Cruise ships are also prepared. We also synergize with other BUMN to prepare the community, including through village economic centers.
Hopefully our activities today and tomorrow can provide benefits for all of us for our mutual progress for Indonesia, especially Central Java and DIY, we can spread it to the community so that in 2019-2020 foreign tourists can come and we can serve them well and that can be a means of promotion for us so that in the future it can be even better." Achmad Muchlis explained.
