Flag Ceremony to Commemorate Kartini Day 2018, Retno Hardiasiwi, “Let’s Realize Kartini in our Hearts and Ourselves.”

A different atmosphere was seen in the flag ceremony commemorating Kartini Day which was held in the yard of the Head Office of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) today, Monday, April 23, 2018. The participants of the ceremony were seen wearing traditional Javanese clothing and all the officers were women.

In her speech, the Director of Engineering and Infrastructure of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) Retno Hardiasiwi as the Inspector of the Ceremony said, "Kartini for Indonesia is a symbol of Indonesian women who are willing to get out of their comfort zone. Women who are willing to ask and criticize the status quo. Progressive women, doing something for their people in their time. Women who diligently write, making their thoughts eternal."

“Kartini asked a kiai about the meaning of the Quran, which made the kiai translate the Quran into Javanese, giving her endless rewards. Kartini wrote various things that continue to be read and inspire until now. Kartini invited Javanese women to learn, bringing light into the darkness. Don't make Kartini just a name in the past. Realize Kartini in your heart, in yourself, at home and in your daily life. " said Retno Hardiasiwi.
