TWC Holds 2018 National Awakening Day Commemoration Ceremony, “HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT STRENGTHENS THE FOUNDATION OF INDONESIA’S NATIONAL REVIVAL IN THE DIGITAL ERA”
PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) held a ceremony to commemorate the 2018 National Awakening Day. The ceremony was led by the Director of Finance, Human Resources and Investment of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) Palwoto.
In his message, Palwoto read out the sambutan from the Minister of Communication and Information Rudiantara. In the speech, Unity is one of the things highlighted in achieving the nation's ideals.
“When the people took the initiative to fight for independence by forming various associations, more than a century ago, we had almost nothing. We only had the spirit in our souls and the readiness to risk our lives. But history later proved that that spirit and commitment alone were enough, as long as we were united in the same ideal: national independence. Unity is the key word when we want to achieve our goals.
a very noble ideal but at the same time a very strong challenge lies ahead.”
"Boedi Oetomo provides an example of how by gathering and organizing without looking at primordial origins, it can ultimately encourage the growth of a spirit of nationalism that is the main fuel for independence. Boedi Oetomo is one of the main markers that the Indonesian people realized for the first time the importance of unity."
Furthermore, Palwoto, when reading the Minister of Communication and Information's speech, also highlighted the development of human resources to strengthen the foundation of Indonesia's national revival in this digital era.
"Therefore, the theme "HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT STRENGTHENS THE FOUNDATION OF INDONESIA'S NATIONAL REVIVAL IN THE DIGITAL ERA" in commemoration of National Awakening Day, May 20, 2018, must be interpreted as efforts to raise awareness of every Indonesian society, to develop themselves and seize every opportunity to increase their capacity opened by various parties, both by the government, business entities, and the community itself. The development of human resource capacity must also be placed in the context of equality in the sense of territory, so that this nation rises together within the framework of Indonesian nationality."
