TWC Hands Over a Livable House to Mbah Diyem

Marketing & Service Director of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) Ricky SP Siahaan handed over a habitable house to Mbah Diyem, a 90-year-old widow who supports her 5 grandchildren alone, in Trenggono Lor hamlet, Sidorejo, Ponjong, Gunungkidul DIY. "TWC is a state-owned company whose main task is to care for society, namely in this TWC's social responsibility to the surrounding community in need, through the BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri Program Kemitraan Bina & Lingkungan (PKBL) TWC Economic and Environmental Sector I which we hope will be the spearhead in this social responsibility to be able to reach the communities in need. That's what Ricky SP Siahaan said to TWC Media reporters after handing over a habitable house to Mbah Diyem

Ricky further explained how the process of providing housing assistance is, the PKBl work unit will filter information on community needs based on criteria that are eligible to receive assistance from PKBL TWC, this is a process for assessment so that the community can get assistance, then later it will be reported to the board of directors to get approval, after that it will be technically carried out such as renovating this uninhabitable house and finally carried out in mutual cooperation with the surrounding community.

Ricky hopes that more and more people who need assistance can be reached and can also get the right to live properly, live properly like now and the more people we help, our ideals to improve the welfare of the Indonesian people can be realized, especially the tagline of BUMN, BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri, we imagine with the number of BUMN all implementing this program, then more and more people in need will be helped.

In addition to house renovation, there are many other forms of assistance provided, such as building infrastructure, natural disasters such as providing water reservoirs, health, educational facilities and so on.

Ricky said, hopefully in his old age, Mbah Diyem can feel the happiness that is the dream of every human being, namely being able to get a more decent life.

In providing this assistance, TWC built a house with a new building that is more suitable for living in, with a building area that is the subject of TWC assistance, namely 6x5 with facilities of 3 bedrooms, 1 living/family room, 1 dining room and 1 bathroom with new brick walls and tiled roofs.
