TWC Conducts Service Excellence Training
In order to improve the performance and development of human resources (HR) and services to both internal and external institutions, PT Taman Wisata Candi (TWC) Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) held Service Excellence training for employees. The training, which was held for three days, from February 19, 2020 to February 22, 2020, was attended by around 30 participants from various work units.
Marketing & Service Director of PT TWC Hetty Herawati opened the event. Hetty hopes that this event can be the first step in giving birth to TWC with a new spirit.
"I hope we have to work together to prove that TWC is capable, our ability to polish this heritage into something inspiring for everyone," he explained.
Hetty also reminded the training participants that TWC as the manager of this world cultural heritage must provide added value and inspire tourists who visit its destinations.
"TWC is an initiator, inspiring people that this heritage can provide tourists with so much wisdom, and people will come to our site again and again because they know there is value. It is a responsibility to work together to re-create a different, new TWC." He said.
The resource person presented was Yoke Darmawan, founder of Darmawan And Associate. For two consecutive days, participants explored Service Excellence with the speaker from Bali.
On the third day, participants were invited to see and experience directly the Service Excellence presented by Plataran Resto located in the Borobudur area, Magelang, Central Java. Participants experienced firsthand the exclusive way of serving, with complete table manners. This was done to become an experience that sticks and is expected to be implemented in each work unit.
