TWC Holds Socialization Regarding Corona Virus for Communities Around Borobudur

Providing understanding related to the Corona virus, PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) collaborated with the Borobudur Health Center to conduct socialization regarding the Corona virus at the Borobudur Village Hall, Saturday (7/2/2020). This event was attended by dozens of residents from villages around Borobudur.

Borobudur Temple, which is one of the mainstay tourist destinations, is one of the objects visited by many foreign tourists. This makes the management, especially PT TWC, to avoid and maintain a conducive and safe environment from being infected by the Corona virus.

This makes PT TWC hold this socialization agenda. The amount of biased and confusing information can create a wrong perception in the eyes of the public.

"The purpose of this socialization is to provide information to residents so that the public understands and comprehends information related to the Corona virus. This is so that the public does not panic. The public also does not need to worry about foreign tourists who come to Borobudur." TWC Corporate Secretary Emilia Eny Utari said when opening this socialization.

PT TWC is trying to take preventive measures in dealing with the spread of the Corona virus by checking the body temperature of foreign tourists. "We are trying to take preventive measures by checking body temperature with a thermo scanner and we provide hand sanitizers at several points in the Taman Wisata area that can be accessed by tourists," said Emilia.
