PT TWC PROVIDES WASTAFEL ASSISTANCE FOR COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS IN YOGYAKARTA AND CENTRAL JAVA

PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) provided assistance in the form of 3 (three) portable hand washing facilities (washbasins) for three health centers in the Sleman, Klaten and Magelang areas, Central Java, Wednesday (6/5/2020). This assistance was provided to support the operational activities of the Health Centers in creating a clean environment to reduce the risk of exposure to Covid-19.

Director of Engineering and Infrastructure of PT TWC Mardijono Nugroho directly handed over the assistance given to the Prambanan Sleman Health Center, Yogyakarta, Borobudur Health Center and Prambanan Klaten Health Center, Central Java. The third phase of PT TWC's assistance is expected to suppress the spread of Covid-19 in both the Yogyakarta and Central Java regions.

"As the vanguard of tracing the condition of people who are suspected of having direct contact with people who have been infected, it is necessary to create a decent workspace according to Covid-19 handling standards so that medical personnel such as nurses, doctors and administrative staff can provide good service without worrying about contracting the virus. We hope that this assistance can provide a sense of security to medical personnel and the community who visit this Health Center." Mardijono Nugrono explained

In handling Covid-19, PT TWC as the Coordinator of the National Disaster Task Force for BUMN in the Special Region of Yogyakarta together with 27 other BUMNs has also carried out various activities to assist the Regional Government in preventing the spread of Covid-19, both in providing basic necessities for affected communities and providing PPE assistance to Referral Hospitals.
