PT TWC OBTAINS SNI ISO 37001: 2016 ANTI-BRIBERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (SMAP)
PT Taman Wisata Candi (TWC) Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) has successfully obtained the SNI ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) Certificate from the National Standardization Agency (BSN). PT TWC is committed to implementing SNI ISO 3700:2016, especially in the scope of SMAP which is focused on the procurement administration process of goods or services.
"PT TWC has established a top management board of directors, a compliance team and an internal team to develop an anti-bribery management system and future action plan. This shows TWC's commitment to implementing SNI ISO 37001:2016. Moreover, with the support and encouragement from the Ministry of SOEs and BSN to implement this standard, PT TWC has finally achieved SNI ISO 37001:2016," explained PT TWC President Director Edy Setiono at the online SNI ISO 37001:2016 Certificate handover event, Wednesday (19/8/2020).
"Good governance is an important foundation in building a strong and good company, including in strengthening anti-bribery management governance. It is hoped that with ISO 37001:2016 it will be a means of collaboration to build the company," explained the President Commissioner of PT TWC, Mr. Kacung Marijan.
Meanwhile, Inspector of the Ministry of SOEs Suprianto reminded that in implementing this anti-bribery management system, performance monitoring is needed. He considered that this commitment was just the beginning, the most difficult thing was its implementation.
"Through the implementation of SNI ISO 37001:2016, it is expected to create healthier BUMNs and reflect the core values of BUMNs that are ethical with 4 Nos, namely No bribery, No Gift, No kickback, and No Luxurious Hospitality," explained the Inspector of the Ministry of BUMN, Mr. Suprianto.
PT TWC's move is fully supported by the Head of BSN Kukuh S. Achmad. According to him, the implementation of standards that will help organizations build, implement, maintain, and improve this anti-bribery compliance program requires consistency and joint commitment from management in implementing SMAP.
"Experience shows that the success of implementing a management system standard, including SMAP, is primarily a commitment from management. If management is committed, then the management system within an organization will run well and smoothly," Kukuh explained.
PT TWC itself is included in the first 45 SOEs that have been certified with SNI ISO 37001:2016 out of 118 existing SOEs. The company that manages the Borobudur, Prambanan, Ratu Boko Temple Tourism Parks and the Ramayana Pentas Theater achieved SMAP on August 15, 2020 in accordance with the target set by the Ministry of SOEs, which requires all SOEs in Indonesia to implement SNI ISO 37001:2016 before August 17, 2020.
PT TWC is committed to increasing transparency in every transaction in every procurement of goods and services in accordance with the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG). This also aims to provide assurance to partners or vendors of transactions that are free from bribery.
The webinar was attended by the Inspector of the Ministry of SOEs, Suprianto, President Commissioner of PT TWC Kacung Maridjan, President Director of PT TWC Edy Setijono, GM of TUV NORD Indonesia, Herdiansyah, and all management and employees of PT TWC.
