MANOHARA RESTO ACHIEVES FIRST RANKING IN FOOD MANAGEMENT OF RESTAURANTS

In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) continues to strive for the best service by implementing strict health protocols. Cleanliness, health, safety and environmental sustainability standards are some of the important points that must be realized in services at destinations managed by PT TWC.

Manohara Resto located in the Borobudur Temple Tourism Park area is one of the business units that implements this standard. This firmly held principle is implemented directly into professional service.

This is proven by the award won by Manohara Resto from the Indonesian government in the series of the 56th National Health Day (HKN). Manohara Resto received the first best ranking in the Food Management category of Restaurants in the 2020 Environmental Health Award.

"The efforts we have made to implement health protocols for our customers, thank God, have received appreciation from the government. This is certainly a whip for us to be able to present clean products, healthy products, and safe products for our consumers. Hopefully this will be a lesson for all of us," said Manohara Resto General Manager, Jamaludin Mawardi when receiving this award, Tuesday (17/11/2020).

The award is a collaboration between ministries/institutions as an effort to control COVID-19 with competition assessment indicators in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Health (KMK) Number 382 of 2020 concerning Health Protocols for the Community in Public Places/Facilities in the Prevention and Control of COVID-19.

The award ceremony aims to appreciate various business sectors and public service places such as ports and airports, terminals, restaurants, eateries, catering and similar businesses that have consistently implemented health protocols as well as health service facilities (fasyankes) that have eliminated 100% of mercury-containing medical devices.

Indonesian Health Minister Terawan Agus Putranto said this initiative is useful as a form of prevention of Covid-19. One of them is by implementing health protocols including in public facilities.

"In accordance with government regulations, this activity can be a momentum to invite all components of the nation's children to adopt healthy living behavior and implement protocols in public places and facilities," said Minister Terawan in his remarks at the event.

In addition to being an appreciation for various types of business sectors and public service places, this award event also aims to restore the economy in building the trust of the community and domestic and international tourists by implementing health protocols in this new normal era.
