TWC CEO Invites Adaptive Management in the New Normal Era
Director of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) Edy Setijono invited the management ranks to be adaptive in facing challenges in this new normal era. He conveyed this during the PT TWC Visioning event at the Trimurti Building, Ramayana Ballet Prambanan Complex, Wednesday (6/12/2021).
"Let's prepare ourselves to face this era. The current conditions are not to be complained about. New things that we must face by adapting. We change our strategy, we change the way we work. Hopefully we can all realize all our tasks," he explained when giving a presentation at this event.
President Director of PT TWC Edy Setijono previously completed his 5-year term as of December 24, 2020. Then, he was re-appointed as President Director of PT TWC on January 4, 2021.
In his second term of leadership, the man who is familiarly called Tio wants his staff to be active and adaptive in facing this new era of habits. In addition, there are several mandates that he wants to spread in his second term of office,
"The first mandate is how TWC can manage expectations in the future amidst the pandemic. The second mandate is related to the BUMN holding. TWC is part of the holding, for sub-holding heritage management. So we have to prepare it too," he continued.
In front of the management of PT TWC, Tio also conveyed the vision of PT TWC's work in the future. In 2021, PT TWC will become a role model for destination management. Furthermore, in 2023, PT TWC can integrate tourist destinations in Joglosemar. "We may have done this now with Kraton Jogja and Sam Po Kong Semarang. In the future, we will expand its reach," he continued.
Furthermore, PT TWC also has a vision to become an Indonesian Heritage Management Corporation in 2024 and later target destination management in regional areas.
"What we need to build is the management information system. E-office, finance, marketing, this is what we have to strengthen. That is the embodiment of our core. This is not easy, but I am sure it can be done. We will improve the work system, when there is a problem it is immediately reported, when there is a need for intervention it is immediately reported and must be able to be a solution-oriented individual," he said.
In this event also performed a dance drama entitled Rewanda Seta which is another name for Hanoman. This dance drama shows the figure of Hanoman who is responsible, humble, loyal and always tries to give his best when carrying out his duties. Hanoman is one of the idol figures in the Ramayana story.
