Synergy of PT TWC & BPCB DIY Promotes Concern for Cultural Heritage
Concern for cultural heritage sites needs to be the concern of all parties. Maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of the site is one of the efforts to maintain the sustainability of this historical heritage.
This was initiated by PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) together with the DIY Cultural Heritage Conservation Center (BPCB) by holding the Caring for Cultural Heritage program.
This synergy aims to realize the sustainability of cultural heritage areas that are able to encourage the realization of a clean, comfortable and safe atmosphere in tourist areas.
The activity in the form of community service to clean the environment was attended by stakeholders of PT TWC and BPCB DIY in the Keraton Ratu Boko area, Sleman, Yogyakarta, Friday (5/3/2021). Community service includes cleaning the environment such as pruning trees, pulling out weeds and sweeping the yard.
In addition, cleaning of cultural heritage objects was carried out by BPCB officers, such as cleaning moss that had settled on the temple fence and removing weeds that had grown on the body of the temple.
VP Marketing & Sales PT TWC Pujo Suwarno hopes that through this activity, in addition to being able to help preserve cultural heritage, it can also increase the cooperation between BPCB and PT TWC.
"The plan is that this activity will be held routinely every month at historical sites in Prambanan. We hope that this activity can strengthen the cooperation that we have done with BPCB," explained Pujo Suwarno.
Meanwhile, Head of Ratu Boko Unit BPCB DIY Tri Hartini welcomed the agenda that could strengthen this relationship. "So employees also get to know each other, not just superiors. Hopefully this activity can continue to run at other historical sites," he said.
