TJSL PT TWC Cares and Helps Renovate Mosques in Three DIY Districts
PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) through the Environmental Social Responsibility (TJSL) program handed over assistance to several mosques for worship facilities in Sleman, Kulonprogo and Bantul districts, Thursday (18/3/2021). The assistance was symbolically given directly by TJSL & SME Founding Manager Bambang Sarwo Eddy
"We share our presence in the midst of the pandemic that we are going through together as a concern for the community so that they can carry out their worship properly and can provide wider benefits," said TJSL & SME Founding Manager Bambang Sarwo Eddy.
Three mosques received aid this time, including the Ukhuwah Islamiyah Mosque in Puri Domas Housing, Sempu, Ngemplak, Sleman, Al Muttaqin Kalibiru Mosque, Hargowilis, Kokap, Kulon Progo and Istikmal Mosque in Kembangputihan, Guwosari, Pajangan, Bantul. The total aid this time is worth 48 million rupiah.
"We would like to express our gratitude for TWC's assistance and concern. It is truly beneficial for the construction process of the ablution area for women and the caretaker's room at the Ukhuwah Islamiyah Mosque which has not been realized so far," said one of the construction committee members, Suwito, when symbolically receiving the assistance.
The Head of Takmir of Al Muttaqin Mosque Dadali said that this assistance will be used for the construction of the ablution area and expanding the congregation's prayer area. The construction of the mosque located in the mountainous area is to add facilities for the congregation which from time to time, is increasing.
"The presence and concern of BUMN that we received, especially at the Al Muttaqin Mosque, gives us hope to have a larger place of worship that can accommodate many worshipers," he said.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the Istikmal Juremi Mosque committee expressed his gratitude for the answered prayers and requests for a generator to support the place of worship if there is a power outage from PLN.
Guwosari Village Head Masduki expressed his gratitude for PT TWC's concern. This assistance is a form of support and provides solutions to the problems of residents in Guwosari, especially regarding the smoothness of worship.
"We hope that cooperation will continue to be established in other areas, considering that Guwosari Village has a tourist attraction, Selarong Cave, which may be able to cooperate with PT TWC. Hopefully this assistance will be useful for the community," he concluded.
