Drive-Thru Vaccination Center in Yogyakarta is held in the Ramayana Ballet Prambanan Theater Area

The Ramayana Ballet destination located in the Prambanan Temple tourist area, Yogyakarta, is the center for the first period of drive-thru Covid-19 vaccination which will take place from Monday to Friday, April 5-9, 2021. A total of five thousand participants consisting of tourism actors, transportation workers and the public in Sleman Regency are targeted to receive this first vaccine.
President Director of PT Taman Wisata Candi (TWC) Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko (Persero) Edy Setijono said that the drive-thru vaccination was an effort to suppress the transmission of Covid-19 from two sides.
"So far, the community has tried to follow vaccinations and implement health protocols and tourism sector actors should also move to do the same," he said.
Edy said that the Prambanan Temple tourist complex is quite adequate in terms of space availability to support the implementation of this drive-thru Covid-19 vaccination. The vaccination location does not interfere with access for tourists entering and leaving the temple complex.
"Through this drive-thru vaccination, health protocols are more guaranteed because the queue consists of vehicles that continue to flow and there are no crowds," he explained.
