PT TWC Wins Award at Joglosemar Tourism Awards

PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan, & Ratu Boko (Persero) successfully won awards at the 2021/2022 Joglosemar Tourism Awards held at the Sheraton Hotel Resort and Spa, Yogyakarta, Thursday (27/5/2021). PT TWC won the award as the Leading and Emerging Destination for the Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur tourist attraction and the Leading New 4 Star Hotel for The Manohara Hotel Yogyakarta.

The award was received directly by the Corporate Secretary of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan, Ratu Boko (Persero) Emilia Eny Utari and Plt GM The Manohara Hotel Yogyakarta Arif Kartika Kurniawan. In her speech, Emilia said that this award is proof of PT TWC's commitment in managing the Borobudur Temple tourist attraction during this pandemic.

"Our commitment to manage Borobudur professionally both in normal times and in pandemic conditions like now. Hopefully, we can get through the challenges in this period well and still consistently provide the best service for tourists," explained Emilia.

The award event held by the Indonesia Travel Tourism Award (ITTA) Foundation aims to provide appreciation for tourism industry players in Jogja, Solo, and Semarang such as Hotels, Resorts, Villas, Travel Agents and airlines as well as tourism supporters including MSMEs that are integrated and support each other.

Through a fairly strict judging process that includes Online Voting Joglosemar Tourism Awards, Board of Advisors with a background in the Tourism industry, and also research partners through Binus Business School, PT TWC and its subsidiaries, The Manohara Hotel Yogyakarta managed to achieve satisfactory results.

"Obtaining these two awards is proof for PT TWC to remain optimistic in its efforts to revive the tourism industry amid the pandemic," continued Emilia.

Meanwhile, Acting GM of The Manohara Hotel Yogyakarta Arif Kartika Kurniawan said that this award is a spur to work even better. "This is an honor for us.
