PT TWC Invites TMII Business Partners to Implement GCG

WS President Director of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) Mardijono Nugroho invites all business partners of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) to implement the principles of GCG (Good Corporate Governance) in all forms of cooperation carried out. This is an obligation for BUMN companies that implement AKHLAK values ​​in running their businesses.

This was stated during a meeting with business partners at the Balai Panjang Museum Indonesia, TMII, Thursday (12/8/2021). The activity, which implemented strict health protocols, was also attended by Corporate Secretary of PT TWC Emilia Eny Utari, VP Finance Ay Suhartanto, and Executive Director of TMII I Gusti Putu Ngurah Sedana.

"We BUMN have a legal basis and policies and special values. The principle is the same that we must implement these values. These values ​​are firmly held by the Ministry of BUMN which functions in management that can provide the best value in its contribution to the nation and state," he explained.

Mardijono explained that currently there is a big difference in the management of TMII. This is because of the difference in management, from a foundation to state-owned.

According to him, this difference is a natural thing. He also advised business actors in TMII to apply self-integrity as part of the implementation of GCG.

"We invite partners to maintain their integrity in carrying out business processes with TMII. Maintain integrity. It is important for us to have the same commitment and be in line in maintaining this integrity. Once negligent, we are finished," he said.

In line with that, Emilia said that one of the principles of GCG is transparency. "The point is that all of us here must be transparent in carrying out cooperation. In the future, we will invite you again for a special discussion. We invite you to convey your hopes to us as the new managers. We hope that TMII will develop further, especially the culture according to the government's expectations," she said.

Meanwhile, one of the participants, Yayuk, welcomed the meeting with the new TMII management. She hopes that there will be openness in the vision and mission in running TMII in the future, so that business partners can adjust to the new management.

"We want to know what TMII's future plans are so that we, as entrepreneurs, can have a plan. Is the vision and mission the same or what. This is so that we can adjust to TWC's steps," he said.
