PT TWC Conducts Socialization and Dialogue with All TMII Employees
PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) as the New Manager held an open audience with all employees of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Thursday (12/8/2021). The activity, which was carried out in a hybrid manner, still implemented health protocols and strict restrictions on offline participants.
This face-to-face consolidation was carried out for the first time since PT TWC was appointed as the manager of TMII by the Ministry of State Secretariat, early July 2021. This was done as part of building effective and open communication between the Board of Directors of PT TWC and TMII employees.
WS. President Director of PT TWC Mardijono Nugroho in his speech said that open communication is the key to building a good performance process to develop TMII in the future. This is one of the principles of good corporate governance and needs to be implemented to build cooperation with all parties involved in TMII.
"Transparency is part of GCG (Good Corporate Governance). We are the same, we will be open to communication. Regarding status, we will be transparent. Through good intentions, let us open ourselves and be transparent," he said directly from the Sasono Langen Budoyo Building, TMII.
This activity was also attended by the Director of Finance, Investment, Risk Management & HR Palwoto, Director of Marketing & Service Hetty Herawati, Corporate Secretary Emilia Eny Utari and Executive Director of TMII I Gusti Putu Ngurah Sedana. This event was attended by approximately 600 online participants as well as offline participants consisting of department heads, managers and coordinators.
In line with that, Director of Finance, Investment, Risk Management & HR Palwoto said that currently all TMII employees need to get clear understanding and information. This principle of openness is a value that must be upheld by all parties in advancing TMII in the future.
“This is so that it is clear behind and clear in the future as well. We will be open as long as it is within the corridor of the rules. We are also open regarding the discussion about TMII HR in the future. This is so that you get clear information. We are still in the process of this transition period. Hopefully this will be a good start for all of us,” he explained.
Palwoto invited all participants present to maintain integrity in carrying out their duties as BUMN personnel in the future. This must be done considering that TMII currently belongs to the state and is responsible to the Indonesian people.
"I hope that the values that exist in BUMN can be applied here, because we are a BUMN family that has its own vision and values. All of that is certainly not free from risk. However, the most important thing is good intentions. That we don't need to be afraid, but also need to be careful. We learn together. Hopefully this migration process can be blessed for all parties," he said.
Marketing & Service Director Hetty Herawati added that this open culture is one of TWC's leading values. This culture will make the business process run better
"We often have discussions both formally and casually. This culture will certainly present a better business process. We hope that this habit can be implemented in developing TMII," he explained.
One of the participants who attended, Jaya Purnawijaya, hoped that this face-to-face activity could continue to be carried out during this transition period. This is so that effective communication can be established in the process of developing TMII in the future.
"Our hope for a long time is to meet in person. I think this is part of the implementation of AKHLAK. At least tomorrow once a month maybe we can meet face to face and build openness to maintain this integrity," said the Coordinator of the Museum and Institutional Relations of TMII.
