PT TWC Supports Prambanan UMKM Java Festival (Pujafest) 2021
PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) supports the Prambanan UMKM Java Festival (PujaFest) 2021. The event, which took place at the Siwa Field, Prambanan Temple Tourism Park Complex (TWC), was held to revive UMKM products as a step to accelerate the recovery of the nation's economy.
Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission VI Singgih Januratmoko, Deputy Regent of Klaten Yoga Hardaya, Head of the DIY Tourism Office Singgih Raharja, Corporate Secretary of PT TWC Emilia Eny Utari, Deputy Regional Manager of BTN Regional Office 6 Central Java-Yogyakarta Edwar Melvin Purba, Deputy Regional CEO of Regional Office & Semarang PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Nashori, Head of BNI 46 Klaten Umi Renani conducted the opening ceremony for the release of a number of pigeons, Thursday (4/11/2021).
Corporate Secretary of PT TWC Emilia Eny Utari said that the existence of tourist destinations is supported by its UMKM products. "We believe that without UMKM, tourist destinations will not grow and develop well, so we strongly support this activity," she explained.
In line with that, the Head of the DIY Tourism Office, Singgih Raharja, said that this event proved that there was synergy between MSMEs and tourist destinations to rise together to accelerate the wheels of the national economy.
"MSMEs together with tourist destinations show their resilience during the pandemic. Keep growing and moving. This is an achievement to be here to see the synergy between MSMEs and the tourism sector," he explained.
The activity that implements health protocols is held for 4 days. Visitors can visit 105 stands consisting of 70 MSME products from various regions in Indonesia.
Through this activity, it is hoped that it can accelerate the revival of MSMEs which are the mainstay of the nation's economy. Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission VI Singgih Januratmoko said that this effort must be supported by all parties, from across sectors, to accelerate the recovery of the national economy.
"We hope for joint support from cross-sectoral, central, regional and BUMN so that we can revive and accelerate the recovery of the national economy," he said.
