“TWC and the Batu City Government are committed to working together to develop and implement synergistic programs to help accelerate tourism recovery. Together, we prepare more attractive products, attractions and services that are relevant to the target market and the dynamics of consumer behavior after the pandemic. TWC as the manager of cultural & heritage destinations will synergize with the Batu City Government to package the potential and narrative of local culture as one of the signatures and uniqueness of Batu City destinations. Of course, while still adhering to good health protocols, because this is a basic prerequisite for achieving tourist safety and comfort, "said Hetty Herawati.

This collaboration also opens up synergistic space with other tourism BUMNs, considering that TWC is part of Indonesian Aviation and Tourism (Injourney) which consists of Aviation and Tourism BUMNs (PT Angkasa Pura I, PT Angkasa Pura II, PT Hotel Indonesia Natour, PT TWC, PT Sarinah, PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia, and later Garuda Indonesia).

Hetty Herawati also added that Indonesia's tourism recovery is important for economic resilience and requires support from all parties, including the government, the community, tourism actors, and the private sector. Together we can rebuild the trust of both domestic and foreign tourists to start visiting tourist destinations with good health protocols.
