Prevent Work Accidents, The Manohara Hotel Yogyakarta Holds K3 Training

The Manohara Hotel Yogyakarta collaborated with the DIY Manpower and Transmigration Service (Disnakertrans) to hold Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Training, Friday (7/1/2022).

This training was opened directly by the Head of the Manpower Supervision and Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Division of the DIY Manpower and Transmigration Service (Disnakertrans) Amin Subargus, Corporate Secretary of PT TWC Emilia Eny Utari and Plt GM of The Manohara Hotel Yogyakarta Andreas Iman Kurniawan.

The training material includes training in handling risks that can occur in the hotel environment, such as choking, sprains, drowning victims and first aid Basic Life Support (BLS) through Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

This activity is to support hotel activities that offer excellent service by prioritizing the safety, health and comfort of visitors.

"We hope that employees can follow this activity well, so that this training gets optimal results and can be implemented to support safe, healthy and comfortable operations," said Acting GM of The Manohara Hotel Yogyakarta Andreas Iman Kurniawan.

Corporate Secretary of PT TWC Emilia Eny Utari said that this training is a form of the company's commitment to provide a safe and comfortable environment. In addition, through training it is hoped that it can support the creation of zero accidents at the hotel located in Gejayan, Sleman, Yogyakarta.

"This K3 refreshment program is very important, especially for PT TWC. We will schedule it in each operational unit so that employees in their work know what the SOP is like. So that zero accidents can be created in the company environment," he explained.

Head of the Division of Manpower Supervision and Occupational Safety and Health (K3) of the DIY Manpower and Transmigration Office, Amin Subargus, appreciated The Manohara Hotel Yogyakarta's steps to organize this K3 training.

"We see for ourselves, the implementation of K3 here has been running well. We appreciate it, by holding this K3 refreshment it is a commitment to build a safe and comfortable environment for visitors," he said.

Tourism activities that have begun to grow in early 2022 also need to be accompanied by the readiness of supporting facilities and infrastructure so that tourists are safe and comfortable when visiting.

"We encourage readiness to face improving conditions, especially the use of supporting facilities, such as lifts, hydrants, escalators. This is done so that tourists are safe, comfortable, safe and healthy," he said.

Meanwhile, Emilia hopes that through collaboration with the DIY Manpower and Transmigration Office, she can continue to optimize accident prevention efforts and help create a safe, clean and comfortable environment for tourists.

"We also need evaluation, suggestions, input, it is very important. So that if there is anything easy to make changes. Of course we do not stop here, we hope to continue to collaborate, to improve TWC services," he concluded.
