PT TWC Receives Industrial Visit from SMKN 3 Jepara
A total of 70 students of SMK N 3 Jepara conducted an industrial visit to the Prambanan Temple Tourism Park (TWC) Unit office, Klaten, Central Java, Tuesday (11/1/2022). The group was welcomed directly by the GM of the Prambanan TWC Unit Jamaludin Mawardi along with Customer Experience Manager Sugiyanti, Operation Manager Sylvianti Ika Pratiwi and Sales & Business Partnership Manager Dooski Sutanto.
Taking place in the Audio Visual Room of the Prambanan Museum, the industrial visit participants from the Office Automation and Management Department received materials related to management and business activities at PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko.
"As a BUMN, we are required to be an excellent corporation by implementing a well-managed and transparent administration system. Previously, we had a manual recording system, but now we are digital," explained Jamaludin Mawardi when welcoming the participants of the Industrial visit.
Deputy Principal of Industrial Relations of SMK 3 Jepara Saroni said that the arrival of the 12th grade students was to learn the administration system at PT TWC. He hopes that with this visit, participants can innovate and develop the knowledge they have gained.
"Even though they are busy with computers and paper every day, we hope that they can innovate and create phenomenal works, especially in today's era," he said.
Meanwhile, Operation Manager Sylvianti Ika Pratiwi delivered material related to the administration system implemented by PT TWC in its business activities.
"For all office processes, we have started digitizing. We implement ERP and E-Office. ERP for processes related to HR, assets, Finance and procurement while E-Office is more for administration in the form of letters," he said.
PT TWC as a state-owned company managing cultural heritage-based tourist destinations has a function as an agent of development, where its role can be a partner for schools, universities, and the community to carry out studies, collaborations, internships and industrial visits.
"We hope this visit can provide a real picture in the industry. The students can see what is practiced in the office and can be synchronized with what is learned in school," concluded Jamaludin.
