Smart K3 Competence and Safety Induction
Commemorating the National Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Month on January 12 to February 12, 2022, the Yogyakarta Special Region Manpower & Transmigration Office held an online K3 and Safety Induction quiz competition which was held since January 28, 2022. From 14 companies in DIY that participated in this K3 quiz competition, 5 teams were selected to advance to the grand final round which was held on Thursday (3/2/2022) at Pendopo Sewu, Prambanan Temple Tourism Park complex. The five teams included PT Sarihusada Generasi Mahardhika (SGM), PT Eagle Glove Indonesia, RSU Mitra Paramedika, PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan, & Ratu Boko, and PT Tigaraksa Satria Tbk. Meanwhile, for the safety induction quiz, 4 teams were selected to advance to the grand final round, namely from PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk Witel Yogyakarta, PT Wika-Hutama Joint Operation Lot 3 Kretek 2 Bridge Development Project, PT Mitra Adijaya and WIKA-WG KSO UGM Package 1 project.
Quoting the speech of the Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah in her speech while commemorating National K3 Month on January 12, 2022, the implementation of K3 is not only the responsibility of the government but also the responsibility of all parties, especially the industrial community. Thus, all related parties are obliged to play an active role according to their functions and authorities to carry out various efforts in the field of K3 continuously and sustainably and make K3 a part of the work culture, so that it can prevent work accidents and occupational diseases.
In line with this, the Head of the Division of Manpower Supervision and Occupational Safety and Health (K3) of the DIY Manpower & Transmigration Service, Amin Subargus, said that the smart and safety induction activities are very important to cultivate K3 in the work environment.
"Knowledge and cognitive are very important and are driven by behavior and implementation in the workplace. Whoever wins, we hope they can provide enthusiasm and encouragement in their respective workplaces," said Amin.
