PT TWC Wins Stakeholder Relation Management Award at BCOMSS 2022

PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko won an award for the category Stakeholder Relationship Management at the BUMN event Corporate Communications and Sustainability Summit (BCOMSS) ranked third from the Ministry of SOEs. The award was received directly by the President Director of PT TWC Edy Setijono at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday (23/3/2022).

This award is a form of appreciation from the Ministry of SOEs to PT TWC as a state-owned company that manages cultural heritage-based tourist destinations that prioritizes collaborative efforts and synergy with various... stakeholder to achieve common goals. The jury for this award includes Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, media practitioner Najwa Shihab and Special Staff III of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Arya Sinulingga.

"Stakeholder is an important concern for us. How to attract all stakeholder that exist so that all business processes in the company can be better. Through this award, we are committed to giving special attention and continuing to build good relationships with all stakeholder," said Edy Setijono after receiving the award.

The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the world has also affected the tourism world in Indonesia. PT TWC implements crisis management to sow resilience when facing the pandemic. One of the things that is done is by collaborating and synergizing with various parties to develop quality tourism.

"The pandemic has been a challenge for TWC. Not to mention, we have been given a mandate by the state to manage TMII and make it a world-class destination. If this challenge is managed well, it will create opportunities that will become a foothold to continue to grow. Of course, we are working on this opportunity together with various stakeholder related to the recovery of tourism post-pandemic," said Edy Setijono.

PT TWC's strategic steps are carried out through pentahelix collaboration, both with the academic world, government, business, media and community. Cooperation and collaboration between stakeholder carried out to support the recovery process of the tourism industry post-pandemic. In developing cultural heritage-based destinations, PT TWC also collaborates with various stakeholder related. PT TWC collaborates with the Ministry of Religion, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, DIY Provincial Government and Central Java Provincial Government present a friendly destination for visitors who want to worship in the TWC Borobudur and TWC Prambanan areas. This collaboration also received full support from the government by designating these two world heritage sites as world-class religious tourism destinations.

The revitalization, which is fully supported by the government, was carried out to welcome the 20 Indonesian G2022 Presidency. TWC also collaborated with several district governments to work together to present quality tourist destinations in each region. "We communicate across sectors with various parties. Like in Borobudur and Prambanan, we work together with the Ministry of Religion to present destinations that are friendly to adherents of the relevant religions and make them religious tourism destinations for people around the world. In TMII, we collaborate with several parties to collaborate to revitalize TMII with a new spirit. Hopefully, we can continue to maintain this spirit to achieve the results we want to achieve together," he said.
