Start the TMII Anniversary Series with a Pilgrimage to the Tomb of Former President HM Soeharto

President Director of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko Edy Setijono accompanied by Corporate Secretary of PT TWC Emilia Eny Utari, Executive Director of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) I Gusti Putu Ngurah Sedana, Director of BHIVA Indonesia Jatmiko and the management of PT TWC and TMII conducted a pilgrimage to the graves of HM Soeharto and Hj Siti Hartinah Tien Soeharto at Astana Giribangun, Karanganyar, Central Java, Monday (28/03/2022).

This routine visit was conducted to open a series of TMII anniversary commemorations which falls on April 20. This visit is a form of respect for figures who have contributed to the existence of TMII. The group was received directly by the Head of the Astana Giribangun Household, Sukirno and his staff. He expressed his gratitude for the visit and prayed for the second former President of the Republic of Indonesia.

"Thank you for visiting the place of the initiator and founder of TMII. May the Great General HM Soeharto and Hj Siti Hartinah Tien Soeharto be forgiven for their sins, their good deeds accepted and placed in the best side of Allah SWT. May the ladies and gentlemen who are present always receive protection from Allah SWT," he explained.

The management of Astana Giribangun also congratulated TMII and PT TWC as the new manager appointed by the state to continue the dream of presenting a world-class Indonesian miniature park. Bringing the spirit of collaboration and synergy, PT TWC presents the concept of Indonesia Opera at TMII to become The Ultimate Showcase of Indonesia.

"Hopefully in the future, TMII can be more advanced, more successful and the ladies and gentlemen who have been given this state task, will always be given physical and spiritual strength, given a long life, given good health, and given guidance from the Almighty so that what you hope for is approved by Allah SWT," he continued.

President Director of PT TWC Edy Setijono advised the pilgrimage participants to always remember the contribution and services of the second former president of Indonesia. In addition, he also invited the audience to continue to ignite his spirit in maintaining the unity of the Republic of Indonesia and in efforts to develop TMII in the future.
