PT TWC Holds Various Agendas to Celebrate the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia

The 17th August competition is always awaited by Indonesian citizens. Both children and adults, the joy and excitement of commemorating the Indonesian Independence Day is one of the activities that is always awaited to arouse joy in togetherness.

PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko held various competitions to commemorate the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia at the Garuda Field, Prambanan Temple Tourism Park complex, Thursday (18/8/2022). 

This activity was attended by employee representatives from various work units and business units of PT TWC, including the Head Office, TWC Prambanan Unit, TWC Borobudur & Manohara Unit, TWC Ratu Boko Unit, Theater & Stage Unit, Bhiva Indonesia, The Manohara Hotel Yogyakarta, and Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII).

President Director of PT TWC Edy Setijono accompanied by Head of SPI PT TWC Aryono Hendro Malyanto, and GM TWC Prambanan Jamaludin Mawardi opened the activity directly. In his speech, Edy Setijono said that this activity needs to be interpreted as an aggregator of values ​​of togetherness.

"Through this morning's togetherness, we rejoice together, learn together to build a stronger togetherness. This is so that we can be stronger in facing the challenges ahead," he explained.

Various typical 17th August competitions were participated by each participant who was divided into several work teams. In turns, they competed, such as cracker eating competition, catching water balloons, dribbling the ball with mouth blowing and others. Set in Prambanan Temple, this activity is also expected to foster a sense of love for the homeland and nation.

"The sense of love for the homeland that we must continue to cultivate and develop will later become the driving force of our devotion to the country," added SPI Head Aryono Hendro Malyanto in his speech.

In addition to holding various competitions, PT TWC also held a flag ceremony to commemorate the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. In addition, PT TWC also invited all tourists to sing the song Indonesia Raya to welcome the seconds of the proclamation of the Republic of Indonesia in all destinations it manages, Wednesday (17/8/2022). This is in order to help build a sense of love for the homeland and nation and to enliven the celebration of the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.
