PT TWC Supports Gateball Athlete Development in Klaten

PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko supports the development of gateball athlete achievements in Klaten, Central Java. This is done to participate in developing the talents and achievements of the members, especially the junior gateball team. 

Through the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) Program, PT TWC provided operational assistance and coaching funds for members of the Gateball team at Prambanan Temple Tourism Park. The assistance was handed over directly by Acting TJSL & SME Founding Manager of PT TWC Ismiyati at the Siwa Field, Prambanan Temple Tourism Park complex, Friday (23/9/2022).

Operational assistance consists of training uniforms, bats, balls, and time and score counters. This modified sport of Croquet originating from the European continent is a sport that requires very high accuracy and planning skills and strategy implementation.

Assistance in developing talents and interests is in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in the field of education. 

"PT TWC also ensures that there are spaces for developing containers in various fields for children and teenagers in particular, whether sports, arts, culture and others. We want them to have relevant technical skills that they can be proud of. This will affect their growth and development in facing future challenges," explained Ismiyati.

One of the members of the TWC Prambanan gateball team, Farah Aulia, admitted that she was motivated to train with this assistance. She hopes that this assistance can help her team to become champions in the competitions they participate in.

"This assistance motivates us to practice harder and develop our abilities," said the 8th grade student of SMP NI Prambanan Klaten.
