PT TWC Wins Central Java Tourism Award
PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko won the Best Historical Tourism Management award at the 2022 Central Java Tourism Awards. The award was presented directly by the Deputy Governor of Central Java Taj Yasin Maimoen to Marketing & Sales VP of PT TWC Pujo Suwarno from Ketep Pass, Magelang, Central Java, Friday (23/9/2022).
The Central Java Tourism Award held by the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) of Central Java Province is a momentum for tourism actors to recover from the pandemic and innovate by continuing to synergize and collaborate to revive the tourism sector in Central Java.
"I hope that the recipients of the (tourism) awards will communicate and work together to revive the tourism sector to attract tourist visits and recover from the Covid-19 pandemic," said Taj Yasin.
To revive tourism in Central Java, said Taj Yasin, it requires synergy from many parties. Moreover, the Covid-19 pandemic two years ago had a significant impact on the tourism sector.
He hopes there will be good synergy between tourism actors and the government. "So that those who get a positive impact are not only the tourist location but also the community," he continued.
Meanwhile, Marketing & Sales VP PT TWC Pujo Suwarno said that this award is a new motivation in managing cultural heritage-based tourist destinations.
"Hopefully in the future we can provide the best service and present new innovations based on tourist attractions as an actualization of the reliefs of Borobudur Temple which are full of educational value," he explained.
PT TWC is committed to presenting an attractive tourist destination, with various new programs and activities that utilize technology. Through this, tourists will get a new experience on every visit to the tourist destinations included in this world heritage site.
