PT TWC Holds Farewell Event for Directors
PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko held a Farewell and Welcome event for the Board of Directors & Welcoming of Independent Commissioners at Rama Shinta Garden Resto, Ramayana Theater & Stage complex, Sleman, Yogyakarta, Monday (3/10/2022).
The handover of the position of Director of Finance, Risk Management and HR of PT TWC took place between Mr. Mohamad Nur Shodiq, and the previous official, Mr. Palwoto. In addition, a welcoming ceremony was held for Mr. Turunan Gulo as Independent Commissioner of PT TWC.
This event was attended directly by the Director of HR and Digital InJourney Herdy Rosadi Harman, President Commissioner of PT TWC Kacung Marijan, President Director of PT TWC Edy Setijono, Director of Marketing, Services & Business Development Hetty Herawati, management staff and daily administrators of the Association of Wives of Employees & Male Employees of PT TWC.
In addition, a number of invited guests were also present, including the Head of the Central Java Cultural Heritage Conservation Center (BPCB) Sukronedi, Head of the DIY BPCB Zaimul Azzah, Marketing Director of Bank BPD DIY R. Agus Trimurjanto and Head of the Borobudur Conservation Center Wiwit Kasiyati and representatives of other work partners.
President Director of PT TWC Edy Setijono in his speech expressed his deepest gratitude for the services and dedication director Finance, Investment, Risk Management & HR PT TWC the 2017-2022 period. "His hard work has made TWC reach a condition like today. We really feel his dedication in carrying out his duties," he explained.
According to Edy Setijono, during Palwoto's time, PT TWC recorded positive company performance. This was also continued when the pandemic hit. Although the tourism world was severely affected, PT TWC was able to survive and escalate its business, with PT TWC being trusted to manage TMII.
"Under his leadership, we were able to achieve a very good corporate performance until 2019. TWC was able to go through the difficult times of the pandemic for almost two years. Alhamdulillah, with his leadership in managing, especially related to finance and HR, TWC was able to emerge from the impact of the pandemic. This is a form of his contribution to TWC and we are very grateful that Mr. Palwoto can be part of the management of PT TWC," he continued.
HR Director and Digital PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero) or Injourney, Herdy Harman hopes that by appointing Mohamad Nur Shodiq as Director of Finance, Risk Management and HR of PT TWC, PT TWC can become a... one of the best heritage management organizations.
"Hopefully the legacy he left behind will be improved, to make PT TWC one of the leading companies in Indonesia. The spirit to grow PT TWC as one of the best heritage management organizations can be realized in a not too long time," he said.
Meanwhile, Director of Finance, Risk Management and HR of PT TWC Mohamad Nur Shodiq stated his commitment to bring PT TWC as Destination Management Operational (DMO) worldwide.
"This is certainly something new for us because my experience so far has been in the financial area. God willing, we will dedicate it to TWC. The hope is to become a global DMO," he concluded.
