Tour de Borobudur XXII Echoes Sport Tourism with Bicycle Tourism

Tour de Borobudur XXII was held again starting from Manahan towards Prambanan Temple, towards Pakem Sleman, then finishing at Borobudur Temple Tourism Park. The Tour de Borobudur XXII event was attended by 1.500 - 2.000 participants covering a distance of 104 km, participants were treated to natural scenery and several temples.

Tour de Borobudur XXII is an annual cycling event organized by the SAMBA (Semarang Bicycle Association) community, and is Central Java's flagship sport tourism program, with the aim of promoting tourism and MSMEs through cycling touring.

PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (TWC) as the manager of Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, supports the implementation of the Tour de Borobudur XXII event organized by the SAMBA cycling community, to support the sport tourism program of Central Java Province. The finish location of Tour de Borobudur XXII is at Lumbini Park and the Marga Utama area, Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur complex, with the magnificent Borobudur Temple as the background.
