Providing the Best Service at Waisak Celebration, PT TWC Holds Excellent Hospitality Training
Dozens of tourism actors in the Borobudur area participated in the Hospitality Excellent activity organized by PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko at Balkondes Karanganyar, Borobudur, Magelang, Central Java.
The activity, which is scheduled to last for two days, is carried out to realize quality tourism in the Borobudur Super Priority Destination Area. In addition, this event is held to support the series of Tri Suci Waisak 2023 ceremonies in the Borobudur Temple Tourism Park area.
This activity was attended by tourism actors from various professions in the Borobudur Temple area, such as customer service, security, parking attendants, traders, tour guides, porters and others. Through this program, it is hoped that the best service can be realized for tourists so that they leave good memories and remain during their visit.
"The hope is that tourists who come to Borobudur will be given the same aura and ambience from the moment they arrive until they leave Borobudur," explained VP of Marketing PT TWC Sylvianti Ika Pratiwi when opening this agenda, Monday (29/5/2023).
PT TWC is committed to providing excellent service for tourists. This is also disseminated through Hospitality Excellent training with participants involving the community around Borobudur as active tourism actors who interact directly with tourists.
"Everything related to hospitality and customer care in Borobudur is carried out. Supporting each other, helping each other, hopefully no one is left behind. We can provide good service to customers who visit Borobudur, and customers who come to Borobudur will come back to Borobudur many times or even promote to friends who have never been to Borobudur," he continued.
Regarding the series of Tri Suci Waisak ceremonies at Borobudur Temple which are expected to be attended by state officials and thousands of people and tourists from various regions in Indonesia, it is hoped that it can run according to plan. The best service is expected to be presented by all parties, especially tourism actors to present a prime destination.
"This year's Waisak, many will attend, and this is a big homework for all of us. Please carry out with all your heart the best and prime service for tourists," said Sylvianti Ika.
TWC Borobudur Operational Manager Kristiono Wibowo invited all participants to maintain conduciveness and order while carrying out their activities in the Borobudur area. This is to provide a sense of comfort for tourists who come.
"We emphasize, this is all for the benefit of visitors, the ending is that visitors are happy, can spread happiness to other people, later other people will be interested in visiting our place," he explained.
Meanwhile, one of the representatives of the Indonesian Tourism Association, Nur Rohmat, said that this joint training is very important to do. This collaboration is expected to realize a universal rule that can embrace all tourism actors in the Borobudur area.
"There is a harmonious collaboration. This training, in our opinion, is very important periodically, joint training, making a joint formulation, because we are on a journey looking for the right format that can be used together for tourism actors in Borobudur," he concluded.
