Nusantara Catwalk Set in Prambanan Temple, Fostering Love for Indonesian Arts and Culture
In order to enliven the celebration of the 78th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia (HUT RI), PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko (TWC) is presenting the Nusantara Catwalk activity in the area concourse Prambanan Temple Tourism Park destination, on Thursday (17/8/2023). This program was realized thanks to the cooperation and collaboration between PT TWC and the Indonesian Fashion Designer Entrepreneurs Association (APPMI) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY). This action was presented to color the Red and White Excitement at the World Cultural Heritage destination.
Red and White Excitement through Action Catwalk Nusantara involves 14 fashion designers from DI Yogyakarta. These designers present their best works to be displayed in the Prambanan Temple area.

Marketing, Service and Business Development Director of PT TWC Hetty Herawati said that the Nusantara Catwalk is the first step in collaboration with fashion designers to showcase their work at the Taman Wisata Candi destination. "Catwalk Nusantara is an effort to collaborate between cultural heritage destinations and the richness of Nusantara textiles to be combined in one performance, which although simple but still meaningful. Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Fashion Designers and Entrepreneurs (APPMI) Yogyakarta Sugeng Waskito fully supports this collaboration. As one of the designers, the show Catwalk The archipelago becomes a special stage, with the grandeur of Prambanan Temple as the backdrop.
