Batik Ambar, which is a fostered partner of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko, was selected as the winner of the Sarinah Pandu program which was held on 24-26 October 2023. This proves that PT TWC's efforts in empowering and mentoring MSMEs have been effective and can improve the quality of local products to move up a class.

TJSL and SME Founding Manager of PT TWC Ismiyati said that the commitment to present competitive and quality fostered partners continues to be driven through various programs, such as empowerment, mentoring and also distribution of partnership funds.

"We continue to encourage our partners to continue to innovate to improve their products so that they can reach a wider market. We prove this by involving 4 partners in the Sarinah Pandu program. We support and become one of the winners," he explained.

The Sarinah Pandu program aims to help and facilitate MSMEs in developing their businesses, improving marketing quality, so that they can reach a wider market.

In this program, partners fostered by InJourney Group receive assessments from the presenters consisting of taste, standardization and quality, creativity, local wisdom, having a story value that attracts national and international markets and the use of digital technology.

The owner of the HR Ambar batik business, Ambar Sriningsih, explained that PT TWC has supported her business process, especially during the recovery towards the post-pandemic. Mentoring from TJSL TWC also supports the sustainability of her business.

Batik HR Ambar is located in Wedi, Klaten, Central Java. This business produces cloth and uniforms from batik cloth. Batik HR Ambar receives many orders for making uniforms, both from offices, schools and other community organizations.

In addition to Batik Ambar, PT TWC also sent three other MSMEs, namely, Ayunee by Melati (fashion), natural-colored hand-drawn batik from Saeful Ghofur, and souvenirs and fiberglass miniatures from Tulakir.

PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero) or InJourney also promotes and develops Indonesian Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This is implemented through the Sarinah Pandu program which was held on Tuesday (24/10).

Sarinah Pandu invites UMKM fostered by InJourney Group to participate in an intensive training process. Participants receive the best materials about retail designed based on a curriculum from experts in various fields.

The capacity building program supports the retail product development ecosystem, such as training and mentoring which then provides marketing access and financing access from the State Bank Association (Himbara) and the Indonesian Export Financing Institution (LPEI).

In addition to this program, InJourney continues to encourage the development of MSMEs and the creative economy in tourist areas. In addition to supporting tourism, this is also to help boost the economy of residents, which has an impact on improving the Indonesian economy.

"After being encouraged to improve the typical Indonesian hospitality, later tourism actors and communities around the destination will also be involved in encouraging local products to move up a class. This is in order to help build a tourism ecosystem through collaboration between quality destinations and classy local products," he concluded.
