PT TWC Supports Collaboration Between Central Java-DIY BUMN
PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko hosted a coordination meeting of the Central Java and DI Yogyakarta BUMN Communication Forum (Forkom) at The Manohara Hotel Yogyakarta, Tuesday (12/12/2023). This routine meeting is a form of synergy between BUMN to present collaborative programs that are mutually beneficial and have an impact on the wider community.
The Central Java & DIY BUMN Forkom meeting this time was attended by a number of BUMNs, including PT Kawasan Industri Wijayakusuma, PT Kereta Api Indonesia, Angkasa Pura I, Perhutani, Sucofindo, Bank Mandiri, PTPN IX, Pelni, PT PGN and others.
Head of the Central Java & DIY BUMN Forkom Ahmad Fauzie Nur said that the purpose of this coordination forum activity is to capitalize on the network to provide benefits and mutual support in the aim of growing the regional economy.
"We have high hopes that through this forum, it will produce mutually beneficial business agreements among members. Because, synergy occurs if there is interaction and exchange of information," explained the President Director of PT KIW.
Corporate Secretary of PT TWC AY Suhartanto hopes that through this forum, collaboration between BUMN can be established to increase tourism potential in Central Java and DI Yogyakarta. According to him, tourism potential in the Jogja-Solo-Semarang (Joglosemar) area still has the potential to be increased through cooperation and collaboration of various parties.
"We hope that in this forum, communication can be established that will revive the tourism potentials in the Joglosemar area. We want to elaborate on the destinations in Joglosemar, to support the existence of the Borobudur Super Priority Tourism Destination," he explained.
In this Central Java DIY BUMN Forum Coordination Meeting, a business presentation was also held by PT TWC and PT KAI. This aims to open up opportunities for collaboration between BUMNs to support businesses in their respective fields.
In addition, on this occasion, the work programs and activities that have been implemented during this leadership period were also explained. This meeting was closed with the election of the next BUMN Forkom leadership period.
