Swara Prambanan Festival 2023 Successfully Presents Excitement Ahead of New Year's Eve Moments

The Swara Prambanan Festival as the first festival presented by PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko was successfully held to enliven the New Year's moment. Tens of thousands of spectators gathered at the Brahmana Field, Taman Wisata Candi (TWC) Prambanan to enjoy the line-up of top musicians performing at Swara Prambanan on Sunday (31/12/2023).

Swara Prambanan collaborates with Yogyakarta artists to introduce the richness of Yogyakarta's cultural arts. The event, which strengthens the atmosphere of the World Cultural Heritage heritage area, carries the theme of building the 1000th proof of love.

As soon as the entrance was opened, Warga Swara (the name for the audience of Swara Prambanan), immediately rushed to the “Memory Of Love” statue installation and immortalized it by taking selfies. Not only watching the music performance, Warga Swara could enjoy and participate in producing works of art such as painting and playing kites with the Talikama community and participating in the Wayang Suket workshop from the Wayang Suket Indonesia community.

Still in the same area, there is also a pottery workshop from Citrus Ceramics that offers creativity exploration for visitors. Not only that, Swara Prambanan also presents an area for film lovers, namely Sinema Swara which offers classy entertainment with short films by talented filmmakers from Yogyakarta, such as the films Golek Garwo, Anak Lanang, and Lebaran from Hong Kong.

President Director of PT TWC Febrina Intan said the high enthusiasm from the community made her party try optimally. She ensured that visitors could enjoy the 2023 Swara Prambanan event.

"We strive to provide optimal service for visitors. Starting from when they arrive, until they return to their respective homes. We try to fulfill various aspects of tourism to ensure that their experience visiting Prambanan can provide a memorable experience," said Febriana Intan.

Meanwhile, the CEO of Antara Suara as the promoter of Swara Prambanan, Andri Verraning Ayu, said that his party was presenting a new experience for visitors.

"We want to provide an experience for music lovers in the country to celebrate the New Year's moment at Prambanan Temple. All night long we invite all participants to sing and sway together and celebrate the New Year," he explained.

The lineup of musicians performing at Swara Prambanan 2024 comes from various genres. This is an effort by the festival to ensure that various layers of the audience can enjoy the event.

Sheila on 7 was the main performer who entertained the audience at the peak of Swara Prambanan. The band's memorable songs accompanied the Warga Swara's New Year countdown moment. The audience enthusiastically sang along while watching the fireworks accompanied by Sheila On 7 songs.

In addition to the legendary band Sheila On 7, Swara Prambanan presents musicians from Yogyakarta. There are Jikustik, Kunto Aji, Jogja Hiphop Foundation, Shaggydog, Ndarboy Genk, Sendratari Ramayana, and art communities. The festival was closed by a fireworks party with energetic hiphop music from Jogja Hiphop Foundation.
