PT TWC Receives HGB Certificate for Borobudur Art Village from Magelang Regency Land Office
The issuance of the Building Use Rights (HGB) certificate by the Magelang Regency Land Office for land in the Borobudur Art Village area in Kujon Hamlet to PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko or InJourney Destination Management is proof of collaboration and synergy between stakeholders in the process of developing sustainable integrated infrastructure in the Borobudur Temple World Cultural Heritage area.
Advanced infrastructure development requires legal certainty to maintain investment growth and increase economic growth, which has a direct impact on the surrounding community. So this commitment proves that the shared desire for development and community empowerment is in line with the actions taken by the Magelang Regency Land Office, the Magelang Regency Government, the Magelang Regency District Attorney's Office and all parties involved in the process.
Acting Regent of Magelang, Sepyo Achanto directly handed over the Building Use Rights (HGB) certificate to the Director of Operations and Services of InJourney Destination Management, Mardijono Nugroho, after the certificate was previously handed over by the Head of the Magelang Regency Land Office, A Yani in the Marga Utama area, Borobudur Temple Tourism Park complex, Friday (7/6/2024).
According to Mardijono Nugroho, the issuance of the HGB for Borobudur Art Village is a mandate as well as a form of intensive collaboration between various parties, including the Central Java ATR/BPN Regional Office through the Magelang Regency Land Office, the Magelang Regency Government, the Magelang Regency District Attorney's Office, the Magelang Regional Revenue, Financial Management and Asset Agency, and the Borobudur Village Government and of course the wider community.
"We are grateful for this trust and mandate, especially the continuous support from various parties. Through this collaboration, it is hoped that it can accelerate the development of existing infrastructure so that it is in line with efforts to improve quality tourism in the Borobudur and Magelang areas in general, provide long-term benefits, and become a manifestation of good governance," he concluded.
Head of the Magelang Regency Land Office, A. Yani, said that the Borobudur Art Market Building Use Rights Certificate (HGB) was given to the Borobudur Temple Tourism Park with a period of up to 30 years. In the Borobudur Art Market project itself, PT TWC itself freed up 37 plots of land with an area of 4,4 hectares.
"The legality of the land has been in accordance with applicable provisions. The certificate can be used according to applicable provisions. The issuance of the certificate is fast, less than one month the certificate is completed. Meanwhile, for land acquisition, it is completed in less than 3 months," he explained.
Acting Regent of Magelang, Sepyo Achanto, explained that the issuance of the HGB certificate was one of the processes of the development of the Borobudur Art Village as one of the main pillars of the management of the entire Borobudur area.
"The process is facilitated by BPN to accelerate the development of Borobudur Art Village. So it continues to process, both construction, relocation of traders, arrangement continues to run," explained Sepyo Achanto.
Sepyo Achanto hopes that through the development of the Borobudur Art Village, it will be able to raise the potential of the region and drive the welfare of local residents.
"The government is arranging this for the good, both for culture, environment, economy, for all stakeholders here too. Hopefully, this arrangement will elevate Magelang Regency internationally by presenting an area that meets international standards," he concluded.
