IDMigunani Distributes Three Thousand Food Packages for Underprivileged Residents in Prambanan & Borobudur

PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko or InJourney Destinations distributed 3000 basic food packages for underprivileged communities around the Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Taman Wisata Candi Prambanan and Keraton Ratu Boko destinations, Wednesday (19/3/2025). The Social Responsibility Program (TJSL) which is routinely carried out during the month of Ramadan is carried out as a form of social concern for the community, especially to meet basic needs ahead of the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1446 H.

The program titled #IDMigunani provides 1800 basic food packages for residents in 9 villages in the Kalasan and Prambanan areas in two provinces, Central Java and DI Yogyakarta. Meanwhile, 1.200 basic food packages were given to residents in the Borobudur area, Magelang, Central Java. The basic food packages distributed consisted of basic necessities, including rice, cooking oil, granulated sugar, tea, instant noodles, soy sauce, and biscuits. 

President Director of PT TWC Febrina Intan accompanied by other directors handed over packages to residents at the Rakai Pikatan field, Kalasan, Sleman, Yogyakarta, Wednesday (19/3/2025). Meanwhile, in the Borobudur Temple area, Director of PT TWC Mardijono Nugroho handed over symbolic assistance to residents at the Borobudur Unit Office, Magelang, Central Java.

President Director of PT TWC Febrina Intan said that this activity is in line with PT TWC's main mission this year, namely to provide a comprehensive impact on every company work program.  

"This sustainability program not only maintains cultural heritage and tourism, but also builds a strong ecosystem, where a prosperous society is the foundation. Therefore, the synergy between companies, the environment and society must continue to be maintained so that we can grow together to give meaning to each other and have a broad impact on future generations," he explained.

This program is in line with the pillars of social development in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) or Sustainable Development Goals which aim to eradicate poverty and hunger to fulfill the primary needs of households ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1446 H.

In detail, the assistance was given to residents of Sleman, DI Yogyakarta, who are in the Prambanan District (Bokoharjo Village and Sambirejo Village) and Kalasan (Tamanmartani Village) as well as in the Prambanan Klaten area, which includes Bugisan, Tlogo, Kebondalem Kidul, Kokosan, and Pereng Villages.

In addition to residents living around the company, assistance was also provided to social organizations, including the blind association, the Jetisharjo Citizens' Watch Association, the Kalasan TKA-TPA Coordination Body (Badko), and the Yapitu Piyungan Orphanage.

Head of Prambanan Sub-district, Sleman, Tri Akhmeriyadi, said that this assistance provides convenience for underprivileged community members in meeting their families' basic needs, especially in facing the Eid al-Fitr 1446 H holiday. 

"We would like to express our gratitude for the activities of PT TWC in providing assistance in the form of basic necessities to our residents who are classified as underprivileged families. Hopefully this can provide benefits, easing our residents to face this Eid so that they can gather with their families in peace," he explained.

PT TWC through the #IDMigunani program in the month of Ramadan carried out social service activities at the Al Barokah Orphanage & Dhuafa in Prambanan, Sleman and also the Daarul Hikmah Orphanage, Borobudur, Magelang. The assistance provided was in the form of basic necessities such as rice, instant noodles, milk, cooking oil, and iftar dishes as well as educational assistance. In addition, PT TWC also distributed 1200 packages of iftar food (takjil) for residents around the company.

The caretaker of the Daarul Hikmah Borobudur Orphanage, Ahmad Tubaroni, explained that the orphanage, which was established in 2003, has hundreds of alumni spread across various regions and has produced superior people in their respective fields.

"Until today, this orphanage has given birth to various generations. Some of them have become teachers, entrepreneurs, doctors. This kind of thing, cannot be separated from the support of the community, one of which is also the support of PT TWC. We are grateful for all the cooperation and assistance," he concluded.
