Celebrating 45th Anniversary, PT TWC Presents Special Promo for Tourists Visiting Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko Temples

Entering its 45th year, PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko or InJourney Destination Management invites the wider community to celebrate this special moment through a series of attractive promotions at the Taman Wisata Candi destination.

On July 15, 2025, IDM presents a free access promo at three leading heritage destinations, namely Borobudur Temple Tourism Park, Prambanan TWC, and Ratu Boko Palace, for visitors who have birthdays in July, as well as providing special souvenirs for the first 45 visitors to the destinations.

InJourney Destination Management also presents lifetime access for tourists whose birthday falls on July 15. This series of promos is valid for regular visits by tourists to the Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko Temple Tourism Parks. 

"We want to present this 45th anniversary moment specially for the community. We grow and develop together. Tourists, society, communities, cultural actors, who continue to love the heritage of their ancestors. Through this promo, we invite the public to celebrate the spirit of cultural preservation in a more intimate and enjoyable way," said IDM President Director Febrina Intan in Yogyakarta, Tuesday (8/7/2025).

Tourists who come on July 15, simply show their KTP or official ID when purchasing regular tickets directly at Taman Wisata Candi. All of these promos are only valid for direct purchases of Taman Wisata Candi entrance tickets on July 15, 2025 for the regular tourist visit category, excluding tours up to the temple structure.

The 45th anniversary celebration of PT TWC carries the theme Useful for the Rejection of Others which reflects the noble values ​​in Javanese culture to bring benefits to others. Values ​​that encourage empathy and devotion, not only seeking goodness for oneself, but also actively giving meaning to the environment and society.

According to Febrina Intan, this promotion is not a form of celebration, but is IDM's main commitment in presenting tourism as a collaborative space between managers, the community, and tourists.

"This 45th anniversary marks TWC's ongoing commitment to continue being a steward of culture and a preserver of world heritage. This free access is proof that we want to reach more people, especially the younger generation, to connect with the history and noble values ​​of the nation," he added.

Series of PT TWC 45th Anniversary Celebrations

PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko held various interesting events to celebrate the 45th Anniversary with the theme Migunani Tumraping Liyan. Through the spirit of togetherness and concern for others, PT TWC conducted internal fundraising to be donated to 45 single mothers and 100 orphans around the TWC environment.

Through the Environmental Social Responsibility program, PT TWC inaugurated the construction of uninhabitable houses (RTLH) in Ngargogondo, Borobudur, Magelang, Central Java. In addition, PT TWC will also hand over Bhakti Budaya scholarships to 45 elementary school students to university students who are dance activists at the Prambanan Ramayana Theater and Stage.

On July 15, 2025, PT TWC also held a 4,5 km Cultural Parade and Rayahan Gunungan Begalan with a route from the PT TWC Head Office to Tlogo Village, Prambanan, Klaten. The Rayahan Gunungan and Begalan activities are open to the community around Prambanan Temple. 

PT TWC also held a Wayang Kulit performance with the Dewa Ruci play at the Rakai Pikatan field, Prambanan, Sleman, on Saturday, July 26, 2025. The play, which tells the story of the purpose of life to achieve perfection by recognizing one's identity and inner self, will be performed by Ki Gading Pawukir and Ki Kiswan Dwinawaeka. This Wayang Kulit performance will be enlivened by guest stars Rio Srundeng and Ari Kenyut.

Meanwhile, the excitement of the company's internal anniversary was filled with the TWC Quiz competition program, the 4,5-minute Mewiru Jarik Competition, and the Pilgrimage of the First President Director of PT TWC.
