To Commemorate Its 45th Anniversary, PT TWC Provides Cultural Service Scholarships & Assistance to 45 Single Mothers and 100 Orphans
Klaten Regent Hamenang Wajar Ismoyo together with the President Director of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko Febrina Intan symbolically handed over the Bhakti Budaya Scholarship to 45 art activists from 14 dance studios who are active in the Prambanan Ramayana Theater and Stage as well as assistance for 45 single mothers and 100 orphans around Prambanan Temple, at the PT TWC Head Office, Monday (14/7/2025).
This activity is part of a series of celebrations for the 45th anniversary of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko which falls on July 15. Through the theme of this anniversary celebration, namely "Migunani Tumraping Liyan" or meaning useful for others, PT TWC confirms its existence as a destination manager heritage a world that must have a real impact on the surrounding community.
Klaten Regent Hamenang Wajar Ismoyo conveyed his birthday greetings and expressed his appreciation for PT TWC's contribution to preserving cultural heritage and providing social impacts to the local community.

The Bhakti Budaya Scholarship is a form of appreciation from PT TWC to elementary school students up to university who are also dancers, gamelan players (warrior) at the Ramayana Ballet Prambanan performance. This scholarship demonstrates our commitment to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) pillar number 4, namely quality and inclusive education for all.
"We recognize that our company's growth is in line with the trust and support we receive from the surrounding community. Therefore, it is our moral and professional obligation to continue to act, to make a difference, and to contribute," explained PT TWC President Director Febrina Intan.
A total of 78 participants from 14 dance studios participated in the three-stage selection process. The first stage was an online registration process. In the second stage, participants underwent a face-to-face assessment that included character dimension analysis, general skills analysis, scholastic assessment, and other assessments. In the third stage, participants underwent an in-person interview. The 45 selected participants will receive the inaugural Bhakti Budaya Scholarship.
"This is an extraordinary program from PT TWC. It's probably the first of its kind for the students who have been working alongside us as dancers, gamelan musicians, and drummers in Ramayana. We hope that these students will not only excel academically, but most importantly, that we can all preserve Indonesia's rich heritage, including traditional dance," he continued.
He emphasized that this initiative is part of the company's mission to create a sustainable cultural space and empower the younger generation as active actors in the nation's cultural heritage.
"Ramayana Ballet Prambanan is not just a performance, but a living cultural education stage. Through this Bhakti Budaya Scholarship program, we want to ensure that young dancers have the opportunity to develop, not only artistically, but also academically," he continued.
One of the participants of the Bhakti Budaya Scholarship selection, Zefanya Putri Aryasti, admitted that she was happy to be able to take part in the selection process for this scholarship. She hopes that if she gets this scholarship, she will use it for academic needs at school so that she can focus more on developing her talent as a dancer.
"This selection process is a very meaningful experience for me. It is very challenging and we can process our minds, we can also test the knowledge we get in school or from outside. Hopefully this Bhakti Budaya Scholarship program can develop in the future," explained the dancer from the Kusuma Aji Klaten Art Studio, Central Java.
The administrator of the Puri Kalasan Dance Studio, Sleman, LB Surojo said that this scholarship can motivate artists who are active in Ramayana Prambanan. He hopes that this empowerment program will continue to develop in the future.
"Hopefully, in the coming years, this can be further enhanced to motivate our children as trainees at the studio. Hopefully, this empowerment program won't stop here, but will also target other dance studios that support the Ramayana Ballet Prambanan," he continued.
Meanwhile, the assistance provided to 45 single mothers and 100 orphans is part of the program's commitment to the vulnerable and a demonstration of social empathy in building a more inclusive and equitable ecosystem.
