InJourney Destination Management Holds Ceremony to Celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia

Hundreds of InJourney Destination Management people participated in the flag ceremony to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia at the IDM Head Office, Sleman, Yogyakarta, Sunday (17/8/2025). 

InJourney Destination Management President Director Febrina Intan led the 80th Indonesian Independence Day ceremony. Hundreds of participants, dressed in various traditional Indonesian attire, followed the ceremony in an orderly manner until its conclusion.

In her speech, Febrina Intan emphasized that today's struggle is for the future. 

"What we are doing now is not just for ourselves, not for the present, but for the future of this nation. As guardians of the world's heritage, connecting the past, the present and the future, "He explained.

Febrina Intan urged IDM members to unite in their attitudes, roles, and the meaning and significance of their shared endeavors. The shared vision and mission must be carried out with full integrity as a form of struggle for this nation.

“Always giving impact both socially and economically, not for our own benefit, but for the benefit of the communities around the destinations we manage. As agent of development "We always support the achievement of community welfare and become pioneering agents. This is a form of our existence," he explained.

InJourney Destination Management as one of the managers heritage plays a role not only in providing economic impact to the country, but also in providing a positive impact on improving the economy in the local tourism ecosystem. 

"A sustainable tourism movement will provide the broadest possible opportunities and space for community advancement, improving social standards, and promoting equitable education for all. We must build and develop the tourism ecosystem to advance this Republic, not by strengthening a useless ego system," he concluded.
