The award ceremony, which was attended directly by IDM's Director of Finance and Risk Management Joel Siahaan and IDM's Corporate Governance & Risk Management Group Head Cahyo Sunarko, was attended by 134 companies from various sectors that were deemed successful in implementing corporate governance, risk management, and compliance (Governance, Risk, Compliance/GRC).

Joel Siahaan emphasized his commitment to implementing good corporate governance through strengthening structures, processes, evaluations, and culture. To support this, IDM has developed various policy documents, including the Corporate Charter, Code of Conduct, Integrated Governance Guidelines, Integrity, Transparency, and Governance Compliance Guidelines, Investment and Corporate Action Guidelines, and Risk Management Guidelines.

"These guidelines are not just a formality, but a concrete guide for every company employee to act professionally, transparently, and accountably," he explained.

At InJourney Destination Management, the integration of GRC into the business is reflected in the implementation of Four Eyes Principle and Investment Analysis Note. IDM adopts Four Eyes Principle or internal control mechanisms that require that every activity involving decision making (especially for business transactions) must be controlled properly review or a study by an independent and competent second party.

In addition, IDM management implements an Investment Analysis Note, or a comprehensive study of financial, business, environmental, social, economic, fiscal, service, operational, legal, risk management, governance, compliance, and other relevant aspects.

Meanwhile, to support the implementation of reliable risk management, InJourney Destination Management implements three lines model or risk management and internal supervision that has clear roles and responsibilities at three levels (lines).

The first line is the operational unit that manages day-to-day risks, the second line is the risk management and compliance support function that provides guidance and oversight, and the third line is internal audit that provides independent assurance. Furthermore, TWC has implemented ISO 37001 certification for its anti-bribery management system.

In terms of compliance, TWC is progressing towards systematic compliance management through early implementation. Regulatory Compliance System (RCS). Through RCS, companies can see the level of compliance of each group with external regulations.

Compliance management is considered successful when the requirements of articles that have legal consequences have been fulfilled, no compliance risks have occurred, and all operational activities take place in accordance with the principles of good corporate governance or GCG.

In 2024, TWC will evaluate compliance with regulations, including laws, presidential regulations, government regulations, regional regulations, regulations of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, regulations of the Ministry of Finance, regulations of the Ministry of Environment, and regional regulations.

"Based on the evaluation results, PT TWC's regulatory compliance rate in 2024 reached 98,43 percent," explained Joel Siahaan.

The success of GRC implementation at TWC is supported by the implementation of digital systems such as e-procurement, whistleblowing system (WBS), system ticketing internal, as well as HR portals for mapping talent development needs.
