InJourney Creativity House Transforms KSB Merchant Tenants to Increase Sales of Local Products

This craft vendor in Block H of the Borobudur Art Village (KSB) is one of the participants in a pilot tenant reorganization program in the Borobudur MSME center.
"This is like starting a new business. We're reorganizing it. Hopefully, it will sell better and prosper in the future," explained Imas Suryani, Tuesday (September 30, 2025).
Another MSME owner, Romlah, seemed eager to reorganize her merchandise. In Block H 1 KSB, she began grouping items by type. This was learned through the InJourney Creativity House training, organized by InJourney Destination Management in collaboration with Sarinah.

The tenant area is arranged through a process of curation and product placement to make it more attractive to visitors. During the training sessions, vendors were taught the importance of building relationships with customers through friendly and engaging service, developing an active sales mindset, and redesigning product displays to be more appealing and relevant to market tastes. Product curation was also a key component of the training to ensure the quality and consistency of the products offered.
The program was also enthusiastically received by the traders. Sigit, one of the administrators of the Medang Kamulan Cooperative, expressed his appreciation for the training.
"Hopefully, this training will run smoothly and provide us with useful knowledge for the future. For the vendors, this is a valuable opportunity; it provides training in displaying merchandise, so that the chances of selling goods increase," he concluded.
