The Samadha Miracle of Mind Spiritual-Cultural Initiative in the Prambanan Temple Area Celebrates World Mental Health Day
InJourney Destination Management (IDM) is collaborating with the Isha Foundation, an international non-profit organization, to present the Miracle of Mind meditation program at Prambanan Temple. This initiative commemorates World Mental Health Day, which falls on October 10, 2025, and is part of a series of pre-launch activities for Samadha. wellness at the Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko Temple Tourism Park destinations.
The free event, held at the Rama Shinta Garden Resto in the Ramayana Ballet Prambanan complex in Yogyakarta on Sunday (October 12, 2025), was attended by 200 participants from Yogyakarta and the surrounding areas. The event aimed to raise collective awareness about the importance of mental health for every individual.
IDM Commercial Director Gistang Richard Panutur explained that Miracle of Mind is part of Samadha, a program presented by IDM to promote the activities of... wellness at the Temple Tourism Park destination. This activity integrates spiritual and religious elements. wellness in destination development, to support Indonesia's vision as a center wellness tourism in South East Asia.
“We believe that the destination heritage "Prambanan temples, like Prambanan Temple, have profound transformative potential. Miracle of Mind is our initiative to promote inner well-being and cultivate peace of mind. In collaboration with the Isha Foundation, we are bringing globally proven well-being practices to local communities, connecting Indonesian cultural heritage with universal spiritual wisdom," he explained in Prambanan, Sleman, Yogyakarta, Friday (11/10/2025).
Samadha participants receive direct guidance from senior Isha Foundation instructor Suchita Raman on simple yoga and meditation techniques, such as Isha Kriya or Upa-Yoga. The program focuses on training to achieve clarity, peace, health, reduce stress, and improve well-being.
Early in the morning, participants were invited to meditate overlooking Prambanan Temple and the rising sun on the eastern horizon. Afterward, they were led to the Trimurti Building in the Prambanan Ramayana Ballet complex to experience the Isha Kriya method, a simple method with elements of silence.
The meditation concludes with sitting in complete silence for about five minutes with your eyes closed and focusing on the space between your eyebrows. This element of silence is crucial to integrating the meditation process.
IDM Commercial Director Gistang Richard Panutur said the Samadha program will lead participants on a path back to inner clarity, inspired by the wisdom of Borobudur, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko. Participants will have a meaningful experience by participating in a live meditation session at a cultural heritage site steeped in local wisdom.
"In this fast-paced world, peace of mind is not a luxury, but a basic necessity. We hope participants will take home practical techniques that will enable them to manage stress, achieve emotional balance, and live life with full joy," continued Gistang Richard Panutur.

The app is designed to help users build emotional balance, reduce stress, and improve focus through structured 7-minute meditation exercises rooted in yoga science and modern research.
“Just as doctors recommend walking 10 steps per day for physical fitness, meditating for 7 minutes a day can keep our minds in top condition,” explains Isha Foundation senior instructor, Suchita Raman.
Noseta, one of the Miracle of Mind participants from Yogyakarta, said it was her first time participating in a meditation activity at a sacred site like Prambanan Temple. She said the experience was unique and different from meditating in other places.
"The first time was incredibly exciting, as I'd never meditated in a sacred place like Prambanan Temple before. The first time was incredibly difficult; my body felt incredibly heavy, like I was starting over. However, as the meditation progressed, my body became lighter. I experienced a release from my physical body. After the meditation ended, everything felt lighter," he explained.
IDM Commercial Director Gistang Richard Panutur hopes that this activity will be the first milestone in integrating spiritual elements, wellness and tourism, to support Indonesia's vision as a center wellness tourism in South East Asia.
