Accelerating Legal's Strategic Role to Improve Business Processes at InJourney Group

InJourney Destination Management hosted the Legal Forum Unplugged 2026 agenda held by PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero) or InJourney at The Manohara Hotel Yogyakarta, Thursday (22/1/2026). 

This forum was attended by 115 participants, consisting of legal personnel from all InJourney Group Members, as well as internal InJourney Destinations participants from various groups and subsidiaries.

This activity aims to unify the legal team's vision regarding the role of the legal team in providing a significant impact on the company's business.

Pgs Legal Group Head InJourney Destination Management Destantiana Nurina in her remarks said that the Legal Forum Unplugged 2026 with the theme Navigator Role in Guiding Decision, Mitigating Risks and Creating Values ​​and Accelerate Business Achievements captures the function and role of legal as a guide for strategic decision-making, mitigating risks, creating value to accelerate business processes.

"This theme emphasizes the shift in the role of the legal function, from mere compliance guards to business navigators. Legal is also expected to provide direction in decision-making, manage risks from the beginning of the business process, and create added value that enables businesses to grow faster, more confidently, and sustainably," he explained. 

Legal Forum Unplugged 2026 brings together business leaders, academics, and legal practitioners to share perspectives and experiences on how the legal function can play a strategic role amidst the ever-growing complexity of business and global challenges.

“The development of digital technology, the use of artificial intelligence, to the global situation full of uncertainty, requiring legal personnel to step out of their conventional roles. In-house counsel "We are challenged to be not only reactive but also anticipatory; not only ensuring compliance but also being able to identify risks and opportunities from the very beginning of the business process," he continued.

IDM Operations Director Indung Purwita Jati expressed her appreciation for the Legal Forum Unplugged event as a platform for sharing, enriching perspectives, and deepening understanding of the legal function in providing strategic guidance, managing risks wisely, and supporting value-added decision-making for the company.
