InJourney Destination Management (IDM) won the Most Strategic Enterprise in Regulatory Compliance award at the 2026 Indonesia Regulatory Compliance Awards (IRCA). Director of Finance and Risk Management Joel Siahaan received the award directly, which was organized by Hukumonline at the Le Meridien Hotel Jakarta, Friday (22/5/2026).
InJourney Destination Management received the award for companies with medium regulation and high business complexity. This achievement reflects the company's growing commitment to improving compliance standards, strengthening governance, and building a sustainable culture of integrity as part of its business strategy.
"This award is a tribute to the collective efforts of all InJourney Destination Management employees for their consistency in implementing regulatory compliance, strengthening corporate governance, and building a sustainable culture of integrity amidst the ever-evolving regulatory dynamics and business complexities," explained Joel Siahaan.
The Indonesia Regulatory Compliance Awards (IRCA) is a prestigious appreciation event held to recognize and reward companies in Indonesia that demonstrate superior performance in individual leadership and regulatory compliance implementation strategies.
The assessment is conducted through an assessment mechanism with a structured methodology for companies and leaders who are role models in implementing legal compliance and sustainable governance in Indonesia.
The assessment aspects in this award include evaluation and monitoring of compliance, socialization of regulations to internal companies, innovation and use of technology to support legal compliance objectives, human resource development strategies, and various other aspects relevant to the implementation of good corporate governance.
As part of strengthening the compliance system, InJourney Destination Management implements the Regulatory Compliance System (RCS) to monitor the company's compliance with laws and regulations in a comprehensive and factual manner.
Through this system, companies manage and monitor regulatory obligations distributed across all corporate functions. Implementing RCS is considered crucial for companies with broad and complex business scopes, as it allows each department to identify new regulations relevant to the company's business processes. Consequently, companies can mitigate potential legal implications and the risk of regulatory violations more quickly, measurably, and systematically.
"Currently, the implementation of RCS allows monitoring of 329 regulatory obligations across all company functions, with a compliance rate of 96 percent. This demonstrates the company's growing commitment to improving compliance standards, strengthening governance, and building a sustainable culture of integrity amidst evolving regulatory dynamics," he explained.
Director of Finance and Risk Management Joel Siahaan stated that the implementation of RCS is a crucial part of supporting the effectiveness of compliance monitoring and evaluation within the company. He stated that the system helps companies identify regulatory changes early and strengthens legal risk mitigation in every business process.
"For us, compliance is not just about fulfilling regulatory obligations, but also about maintaining trust, ensuring accountability, and creating healthy and sustainable business processes. Moving forward, the company will continue to strengthen human resource development, optimize monitoring systems, and innovate governance to meet the challenges of an increasingly dynamic and complex industry," he concluded.
